The 2007 - 2018 Chevy 1500 coilovers barpin is offset, which direction should the shock be oriented on my vehicle?
The ICON coilover is designed to offset the shock forward away from the CV axle. That offset should provide adequate clearance so that the four-wheel-drive version trucks do not come in contact with the coilover. Although it’s not required 2WD drive models are recommended to set the shock in the same position.
