Will the ICON 0-2” lift rear shock work with higher lift heights on this on 1996 - 2002 Toyota 4Runner?
Yes, the ICON rear shock is compatible with higher lift height. The 0-2” recommendation is based on optimum ride quality for the vehicle. Using the ICON shock on higher lift applications may function correctly without damage but right quality may suffer. ICON recommends measuring the amount of travel your vehicle has until the shocks reach full extension. For optimum ride quality a minimum of 2.5” is recommended.
